What you will be a part of
Support and Services, a business area of Saab, supplies a wide range of services and integrated support solutions to customers in defence and on commercial markets for cost-efficient support of systems and platforms throughout their life cycle.
Business unit Gripen Support manages Gripen business within Support and Services and provides a focal point for customers and partners. We provide support for the Gripen system including a range of products and services e.g. technical support, maintenance, ground support equipment, component repair, services for advanced electronic systems, as well as advanced logistics supply services. We also offer maintenance concepts as well as production and implementation of various parts of other maintenance solutions to customers in all domains.
We are now looking for a new Head of Strategy. You will lead a small group of four employees and you will also join the BU Management and report to Head of Business Unit Gripen Support.
Your role
As Head of our strategy department, your role will be to lead the Business Units strategic work and together with your employees develop the overall Strategy Plan.
You will help lead and support the other departments to drive their strategic work and make sure it is in line with the overall strategy for the BU as well as ensuring successful implementation to secure set business targets.
As a member of the BU management team you will be a key individual in developing Business Unit Gripen Support to further increase success in a changing and expansive phase.
Your skills and experience
We put great emphasis on personal characteristics for the position, as well as securing a high performing, co-operative management team for the BU.
You are an engaged and driven manager with previous experience in strategic roles. For this role, you need to have strong communicative skills and have the ability to enthusiasm and motivate others in your surroundings. You have a leadership style that encourage and open, trustful and innovative culture. It is important to be able to work together in cooperation with stakeholders such as other Business Areas and Business Units within Saab.
You are a confident communicator in both Swedish and English. Your share information in a clear and easy way, verbally and in writing.
This position includes access to classified information, therefore you are required to conduct a security screening in accordance with the Protective Security Act and be approved for security clearance by the authority.
