We are now looking for a Head of Strategy and M&A. Someone with the ability to see where our R&D and production capacity can result in new business and solutions. The location for this position is flexible, though Sandviken is preferable as the role requires considerable presence at this site.
Job Summary
In this role you play a key part in ensuring that our strategy process meet the overall objectives for SMT. You support SMT management with the strategy process including direction and design, and act as an advisor in execution and performance management. Also, you lead and own the M&A process in co-ordination with Product areas and SMT management.
Additionally, you secure that management hold relevant information about competitive and business intelligence for tactical and strategic direction, focusing on end-markets, competitors, peers and customers. With your keen eye for new potential business and market analysis you identify areas where we can offer value. Finally, as head of a department you lead and develop your coworkers as well as the function.
We are looking for someone with a degree in finance and/or engineering. Alternatively, your path towards becoming a senior business leader has given you the right knowledge. You have a strong industrial background, and a proven track record of identifying new business opportunities. In addition to strong experience within strategy process and business development, you have also been involved in M&A. Finally, you've held senior management positions within manufacturing industry.
