We are searching for a team player to head the strategic development work across Volvo Construction Equipment as Head of Strategy. In our industry, we face strategic opportunities for future growth. This includes the transition into electromobility and solution sales though a continuously evolving ecosystem. Our vision will keep us ahead, guided by strategic planning and intelligence for quick and non-biased decision making.

Opportunity description:
Head the strategy work at VCE (Volvo Construction Equipment) together with our functions and regions across the globe to reach our company vision
Lead and develop the team of employees working with strategy and create a working environment focused on collaboration, inclusion, value creation and innovation
Develop stronger working relationships with our colleagues across the Volvo Group impacting and supporting our strategic vision
Secure and leverage upon intelligence with focus on information related to products, services, competitors, and technologies as well as on information related to macro and micro economic data and key indicators related to the construction equipment industry
Secure and leverage upon segmentation & market research for products, services and solutions including satisfaction surveys as well as quantitative and qualitative research
Develop strategic roadmaps, investigate, frame strategic initiatives and align to new business development scanning projects related to inorganic growth
Mindset and Competence:
You have solid leadership experience within a strategy function in a complex, global environment
You have proven business acumen and a holistic and future oriented approach
You have experience in leading through others and leveraging on the capabilities in an ecosystem
You have failed and overcome difficulties and learned from mistakes
You have experience from driving change in a global environment and have organizational agility and trust as a proven way to create impact
You have demonstrated a growth and learning mindset in yourself and supporting it in others
