Your role
As Head of Sourcing & Supply, you lead and develop your unit in all aspects of procurement. You will manage a team of approximately 70 procurement professionals including six subordinate managers. Included in your responsibilities are all kind of products / direct related procurement including warehouse management. Indirect categories such as consultants, IS/IT, facilities, travel, etc. are handled by Group Procurement. You will belong to a larger team consisting of skilled colleagues within design, production and purchasing - all with the same mission to streamline a common whole between our departments. You also participate in Saab's Procurement Council consisting of all heads of procurement at Saab's business areas. The council is the governance body for the procurement function.
Main responsibilities:
You will be accountable for strengthening Saab Kockums Procurement capabilities, such as:
* Identify and develop business cases together with internal and external stakeholders to increase value and reduce cost for the Business Area.
* Support the Business Area during various sales campaigns by utilizing the strength from our strategic suppliers and supply chain.
* Develop the supplier base to meet the organization's future requirements using the full potential of what the market has to offer.
* Continuously develop and improve processes, methods and tools to sure an reliable and efficient sourcing and supply operation.
You report to COO and will work from our centrally and coastal office in Malmö. Having staff on two sites, the role includes frequent travels between Malmö and Karlskrona. Travel abroad might also occur.

Your profile
You possess a strong business acumen together with strategic awareness. When collaborating with stakeholders, you are confident with the ability to build relationships, influence and provide advice to key decision makers.
Your leadership skills are proven and you are able to work independently, setting your own demanding objectives and translating those into strategic plans with a medium- to long-term view. You focus on achieving success in individual and team projects. Desirable, you also possess a keen interest to develop ways of working using various tools including digitalization. Negotiating and contract skills will be a key to succeed in this role.
Required skills:
* Proven successful work experience from above mentioned tasks.
* Several years of leaderships roles for larger teams in larger organizations
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration or business law or similar build-up of skills and experience.
* Several years experience of strategic procurement
* Several years experience in a procurement management position.
* Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written
Desired skills:
* Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
* Extensive experience from strategic procurement or experience from sourcing categories relevant to this position.
This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.
