What you will be a part of
Group ICT, Saabs IS/IT delivery organization, provides all of Saab common IT-related services, which include technology solutions, applications, development, management, operation and support. Based on business needs ICT defines and develops new IT services as well as operate and supporting existing IT services.
To improve and speed up global standardization and governance and at the same time ensure that global and local support is seamlessly integrated into one support system Group ICT will undergo an organizational change. The idea with new organization is to clarify Global management vs regional and local support and delivery. To better manage several focuses on change and improved service.
This position will be one of the key positions in developing the new ICT organization and is located in the ICT management team.
Your role
As Head of Sourcing & Governance your main responsibility concerns the analysis and preparations of all sourcing decisions as well as major sourcing partner relations and evaluations. In order to develop and successfully deliver within the sourcing area close collaboration with Saab Business, all parts of ICT and Group Procurement will be key. Saab is highly outsourced and our sourcing partners are key to enable global growth. In this role you will be supported by a small highly experienced team of experts within the area.
You will also be overall responsible for governance of all parts of Saab IT, which will be key in order grow sustainably. Within the area of governance you will have an experienced manager who manages the team of specialists within security, quality and legal IT governance.
With this position you will have the opportunity to work globally with several partners to Saab. You will have a lot of interaction with all kinds of IT Vendors.
You will be line manager for approximately 10 employees. As Head of Sourcing & Governance you will be part of ICTs management team and you will report directly to Head of Group ICT. Travels, both national and international will occur frequently.
Your skills and experience
As Head of Sourcing & Governance you understand and apply commercial principles in your way of working. You think strategically and have a broad / long-term perspective - "sees the big picture"- and adapt actions accordingly.
You have a long experience within Sourcing. We think that it is essential that you have worked as a manager for several years. You understand and have long experience of complex procurement processes. To be successful as Head of Sourcing & Governance we believe you need to be a curious, creative and communicative leader that has a solid knowledge of the commercial aspects of the job.
Saab is located on several places in Sweden, giving flexibility when it comes to location but it would be preferable if you sit with one of the major ICT-locations (Stockholm, Linköping or Gothenburg).
You speak and write Swedish and English fluently.
