Connectivity and digitalisation are prerequisites to enable the growth that is planned for the coming years, so we are in an exciting and dynamic period. The aim of the Connected Services and Solutions business area is to implement and sell services and packaged solutions as well as to leverage the benefits of connectivity within all parts of Scania.
Using agile methods, the Intelligent Solutions department, develops tailored applications needed to prospect, sell and deliver services and solutions based on connectivity. Building on existing Scania strengths and by combining business understanding, agile IT development, modularised applications and algorithms, we can create faster throughput meeting the specific need.
The offering is in most cases presented as a key customer benefit or quantifiable impact on the customer bottom-line - for example Total Operating Economy in terms of fuel consumption saving, uptime percentage target or sustainability as a CO2 emissions reduction target.

Your duties
You will be leading a small team of development managers. Your responsibility will be to lead the development management team in: -Prioritisation between different business opportunities and development needs
Analysis of needs - often based on vehicle, operational or customer data
• Based on analysis - benchmark existing products and services to determine what can be re-used and what needs development.
• Define algorithms and functions needed for solution.
• Lead the development of the decided solution/functionality through a continuous dialogue with agile developers and assignors.
You will work closely with the development support and development teams, and be a natural part of Intelligent Solutions management team.
Your profile
The ideal candidate is self-motivated and willing to engage in both pure analytical type of duties as well as more hands on operational issues. You must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to design and implement a project schedule, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast moving environment.
You easily understand business requirements and are able to determine if and how they are transformed into data models.
As a person you are a team player who works well independently, responsive and humble, with an ability to drive technological developments based on business needs. You have good communication skills, easily builds networks and can represent your organization in the external context.
You have a relevant academic training in systems or computer science or have a degree in statistics, Civil Engineering, BSc or equivalent. You can express yourself in Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
