Are you skilled in defining and articulating strategic choices, making business priorities and drive effective product management operations in a truly collaborative manner? Then join our new Solution Line Packet Core (SL PC) in Solution Area Core Networks.
SL PC is in the center of Business Area Cloud Software and Services financial turn-around and future growth. We drive our business in the three offering areas Packet Core, Policy and Signalling. Within the next 12 month, we will have accomplished a break-even result, taken stand on strategic choices for the next decade, empowered our teams to work more strategically, and grounded for improved price levels by being clear on Ericsson Packet Core 's unique value to key customer stakeholders.
This role has a broad span and includes lead for SL PC strategy work where in addition to lead the strategy work within the team, you are personally also expected to spend time creating and communicating the strategic content, drive our strategic portfolio priorities and support Product Managers in business development. You will lead a small team of Portfolio Managers and Strategic Product Managers working cross-portfolio, performing portfolio governance and strategy execution, and drive process changes for effective product management. You will work closely with your peers and Strategic Product Managers within their teams. Close collaboration will also take place with Core Networks Strategy & Portfolio, Business Operations, Sales Engagement, other SLs in Core Networks, as well as other Solution Areas.

What you will do
Lead and empower a highly proficient team of Portfolio Managers and Strategic Product Managers, grow and retain talents.
Achieve SL PC leadership's team's joint result (responsible).
Craft and articulate the SL PC strategy and values in close collaboration with key stakeholders in our Solution Line as well as across BCSS (accountable)
Contribute to various BA strategy work groups and other strategic topics (responsible).
Drive cross Offering Areas (OAs) strategic items in alignment with OAs Portfolio Business Review process and portfolio performance reviews.
Govern strategy execution through setting and tracking OKRs and KPIs, manage SL reporting and handle communication.
Drive SL Business Plan, Financial Plan and Budget work.
Drive SL Business Operations (Governance structure, Business decision foras, PMF, etc).
Drive SL Portfolio Management (Portfolio Life Cycle Management, portfolio structure, naming etc) and improvements thereof.
Keep together overall SL roadmap and communication.
You will bring
University degree in Engineering or ICT.
Proven track record of successfully achieving results in a complex cross functional organization.
Extensive experience in Product Management and Strategy, where additionally R&D, and/or Market Area experience is a plus.
Senior leadership characterized by high integrity, credibility, and trust.
Excellent knowledge and experience of industry shaping trends, sales environment, competition, and the customer needs in the Packet Core market.
Exceptional skills in Strategic thinking, articulation, and leadership.
Highly developed Portfolio Management and Strategy Execution governance skills.
Highly developed Financial, Profitability and Business Case skills.
Excellent techno-commercial understanding to take high-impact portfolio decisions.
Proven ability to articulate the value proposition and influence customers to secure profitable business and drive business development.
Confident and experienced from successfully engaging with customer Vice Presidents and Directors.
Highly developed change management skills for portfolio or process optimizations.
