Service Business & Technology operates in Global Customer Service and are responsible for everything needed to service and repair a car e.g. developing and implementing efficient methods and tools for workshop and technicians, repair information, diagnostics, technical support and technical training.
Software is part of the global Service Business & Technology Management Team responsible for developing and driving global product performance for the Software product portfolio.
We are now searching for an experienced executive for the product line Software.
This is a unique and exciting business challenge where the right candidate will have the opportunity to be developing both the technical and business side of Software for the aftermarket.
Scope:
As Head of Software, you will report to the global Head of Service Business & Technology.
Software are divided into the following teams:
* Software For Service
* Software On Demand
* Applications
Your key tasks
As Head of Software, you will be ultimately responsible for leading, coaching, developing and driving global product performance for the Software product portfolio and ensure operational excellence.
You will work actively and closely with regions and markets to find business potential in current product portfolio and capturing feedback and requirements from regions, markets and customers and drive requirements towards vehicle development to minimize cost-of-ownership.
Head of Software will develop Software products in collaboration with other functions like CED (Consumer and Enterprise Digital), product creation and regions to gain market insights and make sure that they are attractive to technicians, customers, marketable and can be delivered in a competitive way.
You will secure that Digital products are available when new vehicle lines are released and that concepts, tools and ways-of-working of high-performing products are spread globally where applicable.
Head of Software, will have a life-cycle responsibility for Software products and constantly work to optimize the content of the product portfolio
You and your skills
You are an experienced leader and have a minimum of 5 years executive leadership experience within software development. To conclude, you preferably have experience from leading change in a complex organization and experience from an agile work environment and are fluent verbally and in writing English.

For this position, you need to have an excellent communication skill, high integrity, strong sense of delivery and a personal eagerness to accomplish results and getting things done, in time and with quality.
You are a communicative leader with an entrepreneurial mind-set, ambitious, energetic, creative and open minded with aim to find new solutions to existing problems.
