Do you have passion for advanced technology and leading software development teams? Do you want to take responsibility for making sure our Software Engineers reamain industry leaders on our journey to revolutionize data integration?
As the Head of Software Engineering, you will be the line manager for our 20+ Java Developers. You will focus on helping them to develop their skills; sharing knowledge, keeping them informed and updated about technology, and about our business and strategy.
The developers are part of scrum teams, working with product development on a daily basis. This means that you will have the chance to focus on leadership in your role, but you are also expected to take an active part in improving our ways-of-working.
You will be based in Stockholm and be a part of our Product Development management team reporting to the VP of Product Development.
We are looking for someone with leadership experience as well as a good knowledge of Java software development in an Agile context. It would be a plus if you have knowledge and experience within the Telecoms industry.
You will have coached and developed software engineers in their professional roles before, as well as be experienced working with other roles in a company. You probably have a software engineer background and experience working in a product company. You are fluent in English, reading and writing.
As a person you will be a good communicator and have a genuine interest in developing others. You are driven by change and improvement and are open to finding new ways of working. You are a good team player who thrives on challenges and you are good at analysis and problem solving.
