We are now looking for a skilled Head of Software Development who shares our ambition to join us on this journey.
We offer a complete ecosystem of products with solar, batteries, charging boxes and electricity contracts to optimize households' and society's production and consumption of energy, and give individuals the opportunity to have control over their own energy. And! - it 's our smart software services that makes this possible.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Head of Software Development you will lead, expand and establish our development team to make sure we have the right competence and technical solutions for what's in front of us. With a great understanding of scalability, you will set the architecture and technical direction for our software and be a key player in our expansion worldwide.
You are responsible for the development team's delivery and products, and report directly to our CTO. By promoting collaboration between different teams and departments you are expected to continuously actuate improvements in terms of productivity and quality.
In your leadership, you have an important job ahead of you to inspire and lead your team members to meet our company's goals and objectives. Our current development department consists of 12 developers divided into three teams, for whom you will have the full personnel responsibility.

WHO YOU ARE
We believe you have a solid experience of scaling complex software systems, both in users and functionality, and that you are comfortable with full-stack development.
Throughout your career you have gotten used to defining arcitecture and tactical plans which can be collaboratively carried out by the team. You create technical solutions from a business and customer point of view, and have implemented improvements to products, services and processes in the past.
You have a track record of leading, developing and building software development teams in growth. Through your leadership, you create structure and direction for the team, and engage your employees. As an excellent communicator you have the ability to discuss visions and obstacles of different IT solutions regardless of recipients.
To be successful in this position, you have:
• +10 years of hands-on software development and experience from large-scale, complex systems
• Knowledge in Node.JS and Typescript
• Documented experience as a leader in growth
• Experience in having personnel responsibility
