This is driving Volvo Cars Group with Affiliated Brands to build new uptime services in newly established Uptime organization to keep cars running on the roads and to minimise downtime for our customers.
We are now searching for an experienced executive in the field of large-scale uptime service production. This is a unique and exciting business challenge where the right candidate will have the opportunity to be at the very centre of the most exciting transformation of Volvo Cars Group with Affiliated Brands.
The candidate has a progressive view on what large scale uptime service production will have to be in the future in order to meet the uptime requirements of ride hailing companies such as Uber, car sharing providers such as M, Sunfleet and Zipcar, car subscription providers such as Lynk&Co, Polestar and Care by Volvo AB as well as the more traditional car fleet companies. The candidate will have successfully managed a service production operation on an international level with a demonstrated ability to deliver results with large-scale and cross-functional teams.
Scope:
As Head of Service Production, you will be part of the global Uptime Leadership Team and report to the global Head of Uptime.
Service Production:
Service Production at Uptime will address the following global product development and operations owned and run by Retailers, 3rd Parties or Uptime:
* Mobile Service to Car
* Service Points
* Workshops
* Service Factories
* Technical Competence, Methods and Tools
* Digital Platform
Your key tasks
As Head of Service Production, you will be ultimately responsible for leading, coaching, developing and driving service production efficiency across all service channels.
You will lead through your team of direct reports, create a collaborative environment with strong relationships with colleagues across the global organization and Ensure operational excellence on global basis.
You will drive global build-up of new as well as transformation of existing service production capabilities, own and develop effective contract management of external vendors and work with our partners and markets to ensure continuous improvement.
Head of Service Production will also stay on top of best practices, new vendors and visualize operational performance via the establishment of appropriate KPIs.
You and your skills
You have MBA and/or Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent, minimum 5 years executive leadership experience within the uptime service production field, likely within an international automotive context or other industry with similar demands (aviation, public transport, marine etc)
You have a progressive view on what automotive uptime services will need and strong leadership skills with an ability to coach, motivate, delegate and prioritize in a high paced and complex business setting.
You have a preferably experience from leading change in a complex organization and experience from an agile work environment and are fluent verbally and in writing in English

For this position, you need to have an excellent communication skill, high integrity, strong sense of delivery and a personal eagerness to accomplish results and getting things done, in time and with quality.
You are a communicative leader with an entrepreneurial mind-set, ambitious, energetic, creative and open minded with aim to find new solutions to existing problems.
