Your role
You will establish and lead the new section Sensor Core CPP (Common Processing Platform) together with a team of system engineers. As a member of Sensor Core Platforms management team you will participate in building the organization leading the development of Surveillance' Sensor Core. Your main tasks are:

Lead product development, and maintain and sustain Sensor Core CPP in accordance with relevant processes together with your team
*
Secure that Sensor Core CPP meets requirements, standards and regulations
*
Communicate with all Product Units in order to understand their customers' needs and combine them into common platform products
*
Establish an efficient way of working with the different development organizations within Surveillance
*
Inspire and motivate your team to achieve their goals and challenge them to succeed
*
Participate in developing technical aspects of the strategy, roadmap and release plans for our Product Unit
*
First line manager for your team
All with the main purpose to secure efficient and timely product development, quality and customer satisfaction.
Your profile
We are looking for you with strong drive and perseverance who likes to develop and challenge yourself as well as your team members. To be successful in this position, you need to have the ability to motivate and engage others but also be able to organize, prioritize and take decisions to improve performance and profitability. We also assume that you have:

Experience from Systems Engineering and minimum five years of product development experience from relevant technical area
*
Staff leading experience
*
Experience from managing common computer platforms serving different applications and variants
*
Experience from front edge software development including cyber security, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
*
Postgraduate qualification in a technical discipline
*
Excellent communication skills in English, verbal and written

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance, additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
What you will be a part of
The unit Sensor Core Platforms is part of the Product Unit Fighter & Sensor Core. Our task is to develop efficient and relevant platform products for Surveillance' future sensors driven by customer needs and product roadmaps. We lead the product development including System Design & IoV as well as maintain and sustain our platform products.
