The main propose for the Head of Security and Estate is to ensure the adequate level of security in place to protect life and asset at or related to the site in Uppsala.
About the Role
We are now looking for an experienced leader to manage the team of 15 employees working in the Security and Estate department. The team is responsible for the Uppsala site when it comes to security and estate related questions. You will manage a team of independent individuals and the culture of the group is reflected by cooperation and trust. Your task among others will be to lead the group further in its development, and to ensure that safety and estate projects move forward.
Your responsibilities and focus will include:
* Security within Galderma including securing compliance with Security Protection Act, other national regulations and Galderma policies.
* When needed, cooperate with authorities and other parties such as Police, Secret service and Uppsala County board.
* Leader of Crisis Management Team, which includes updating of routines and training of organization
* Overall Site Estate and facility responsibility including property maintenance and development.
* Manage business, personell and budget
* Team leadership and individual development in order to reach the overall objectives set for the organization
* Cooperate with Risk Managing Director, Head of Galderma Global Security, Head of Galderma Global Information Security and Nestlé risk and security management.
* Development of working methods and routines for the team
* Ensure that the group has the necessary resource and competencies in order to succeed
About You
We are looking for a person with several years' management experience and who is able to handle change and challenge as part of your everyday work. Your ability to encourage, empower and recognize your team is a key component of the role and an important success factor for Galderma.
To be successful in the role, you:
* hold a bachelor degree in related field or similar
* have several years' experience of industrial security, criminal justice and/or law enforcement
* comprehensive knowledge and experience of compliance with Security Protection Act
* have knowledge and experience in IT-Security
* have a minimum of three years of experience within supervision, risk management and security
* have experience of Matrix management, participating or leading development/change activities
* have experience within the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry(merit)
* are flexible and able to accept the need for change. You have the ability to create a vision of change and to build commitment to this vision for your group
* are self-driven, flexible, analytical, methodical and have the ability to structure work and manage multiple requests while maintaining timelines
* have the ability to shift from strategic focus to become fully operational according to situation. You are focused, balanced and use common sense when you are under pressure and in critical situations.
* possess good communication and collaboration skills and are fluent in Swedish and English, both verbal and written.
