As Chief Security Officer at Saab, you have the corporate responsibility to lead all aspects of Security within Saab Group, leading a highly professional security function with personnel of different backgrounds and competences.
Your role
Saab Security is dedicated to contribute to the creation of business value, to protect our people, assets and reputation, to create organizational resilience, establish trust and enable profitable business in the global marketplace. In this role, you have the corporate responsibility to lead all aspects of Security within Saab Group. You will ensure compliance with our policies, internal steering documents, laws, regulations as well as customer requirements and you will have the formal role as head of protective security at Saab in Sweden. As CSO at Saab you will have the overall responsibility to make sure that resources, processes and plans are in place to identify, report, manage, investigate and respond to incidents, crisis, emergencies, staff evacuation or repatriation and disasters.

Your profile
We are looking for a professional with several years of experience from leading the field of Security at a large corporate company or a large authority. You will live Saabs core values of trust, expertise and drive and you will lead Security at Saab with an inclusive and adaptive leadership. The world is changing rapidly and with experience of change management, you adapt your work in a proactive way to give the support to business as needed. You have business and commercial understanding and documented top management experience, in combination with proven ability to lead people and operations within a large company or a large state authority. You are a true team player establishing and maintaining effective working relationships and teams, you are business oriented, curious, flexible and eager to learn from others. Together within Saab Security, we constantly seek to draw lessons learnt, utilize best available practices and contribute in functional development, task force assignments and a common approach in as many areas as possible.
As a person, you are trustworthy with high standards of ethics and personal integrity demonstrated by an unblemished career history. You have high self-awareness especially regarding your personal strengths and weaknesses. With high integrity and effective use of your interpersonal and communication skills, including tact and diplomacy you are effective in supervising, leading, and delegating tasks and authority. You have a Bachelor/Master degree in a related area, ideally coupled with suitable business management qualifications. You have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and excellent skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written.
Experience of implementing Swedish national security requirements and experience of implementing standards such as ISO 27001 etc. is a plus.
What you will be a part of
As Chief Security Officer at Saab will lead a highly professional security function with personnel of different backgrounds and competences. You will have four line managers direct reporting to you at Group Security, and functional responsibility within the area of security in a matrix organization all through Saab Group. You will report to Head of Group HR and work closely with top management as a whole. You will work at our Headquarters in Stockholm or in Linköping. This role will require travelling to our sites around the globe. This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.
