The Project Management Office (PMO) Manager, head of SDA PMO, leads the PM office that enhances consumer value. She/he is responsible for the Project Management function within the SDA Business Unit, leading a global team of Project managers, ensuring integration, consistency and operational excellence of PMO processes and the function.
The Project Management Office Manager makes sure the Business Unit has updated project delivery capability, provides best practices in project management, and promotes change and cross collaboration bringing into PO outside-in perspective
The PMO Manager focuses on the project interface with project leaders, project teams, technology and interface issues.

The Project Management Office (PMO) Manager is leading the Business Unit Project Management Office function, in order to build successful SDA business together.

Typical day

The Head of SDA PMO is responsible for all project related deliveries within the Business Unit.

Promote change and collaboration
• Contributes to the journey to achieve consumer centricity and operational excellence in all projects
• Promote change in order to achieve a strong alignment and co-project management within internal stakeholders and suppliers
• Engage the organization based on trust, openness and sense of urgency
Process and continuous improvement
• Establishes and manages a lean and efficient and agile project methodology (incorporating structures, standards, processes, documentation and reporting )
• Prioritizes and focused projects together with BU stalkeholders to fits the mission and support the strategy of the Business and puts emphasis on the quality of decision making and timely project delivery
• Ensures excellent execution (from focus, financial and time perspective) of the risk strategy throughout the projects lifecycle.
• Overlooks the Business unit projects/programs execution , review projects assessment process and way of reporting and presenting projects update
• Ensure project scopes, plans and timelines and managed, and track scope change decisions
• Ensure continuous improvement of the project execution methodology

• Together with team develops and maintains processes and tools to ensure project management documentation, reporting and plans are relevant, accurate and complete

Education and experience

• Bachelor or Masters of Science or Business administration
• Typically have 10 years of experience of positions within project management and product development
• Typically have 7 years of Leadership experience

Other requirements

Prepared to travel internationally, 30-60 days / year
Required Languages: English
