The Head of Sales will be a key player in accelerating the commercial success of the company.



Your new role

You report to the deputy CEO, and will be part of the operations management team. The role is based at the beautiful headquarters in Stockholm. Some traveling (such as co-traveling with your sales team members) is natural and expected in the role. The client base is international.



We are looking for an experienced sales manager to lead the team of Key Account Managers/Sales Managers. A key to success will be to lead the change in culture and behavior, with increased focus and understanding of how to successfully drive and influence sales. With a strong offering, much of the sales have historically been made through incoming enquiries from customers. Hence, the implementation of more active Key Account strategies, as well as an active outbound sales strategy, is a potential for growth.

You will set clear requirements, support the sales managers in breaking down sales goals into sub-goals and action plans, and proactively follow up on them. You will establish relevant KPIs to drive the sales organization more proactively, as well as increase predictions in forecasts.



What you'll need to succeed

You are an experienced sales manager, with a track record of successfully managing a sales team and proactively driving sales - ideally within the CRO space or similar services. You have great focus and experience of successfully leading towards clear goals, setting clear plans, following up and supporting the sales process, preferably also in penetrating new markets and introducing new products on the market. You need to be good at communication, getting buy-in, implementing and sustaining change.



You will need:

* Experience in sales management, leading sales teams
* Own solid experience of complex sales
* Fluency in English

You will find it important to have:

* Experience of working with a CRO, CMO or CDMO (sales of services rather than products)
* Experience of stakeholder mapping and best practice in complex sales
* Ability and willingness to travel naturally for business purposes
* Ability to establish clear plans, as well as support and follow up against them.
