Scania Financial Services (SFS) is serving Scania customers, dealers and distributors in some 60 markets through 15 captive business units by offering competitive and innovative financing and insurance solutions. Over 1.000 dedicated professionals manage a portfolio consisting of more than 160.000 trucks, buses, coaches and trailers representing almost 100 bn SEK of assets financed and close to 100.000 insurance policies.

The aim for SFS is to become a true and integrated part of the Scania Solution Sales offering by developing customer satisfaction and loyalty while adding values to the stakeholders and customer's customers when living the Scania Experience. SFS Head Office is located in Södertälje.



In this role you have the responsibility to develop strategic Sales and Marketing plans based on common company strategic goals. You act as the leader of the central Sales & Marketing team and as a partner towards Commercial Operations. You have high understanding of our business, products and processes. Further you will identify areas of improvement and build action plans to systematically improve Sales performance in the entire SFS organization. To perform this you will approach markets to implement, improve and monitor Sales methods & performance, and support markets with the roll out of all sales & marketing activities.

Together with the Pre-Sales Manager reporting to you, you are responsible for the rollout out and usage of sales support tools, like SCRM and Sales Portal as well as to create tools and competences in order to allow for better business decisions and improve business intelligence within all Business units. You drive the integration of SFS Sales process within overall Scania sales processes and develop new Sales processes and ways of working based on Customer experience by better understanding the customer's journey.

Working closely with Group marketing you will be responsible for the development of the Scania Financial Services proposition ensuring that it is consistent with Scania's brand position and proposition. You will initiate market research activity and develop products and services working closely with stakeholders particularly Commercial Operations and Business Units. The development of centrally co-ordinated campaigns to support finance end insurance sales activity will be part of your brief.

Local Sales & Marketing Managers, normally reporting to the Business Unit MD, have a functional reporting line to the Head of Sales & Marketing. You have two direct report in Presales and Marketing & Communication..



Job description: Your key responsibilities are the following:

Management

• Lead the central Sales & Marketing team
• Member of the Front Office MGM team



Sales & Marketing

• Develop strategic Sales and Marketing plans
• Systematically improve SFS sales performance and pricing methods through the development and implementation of sales management tools, common processes, reporting and training
• Sharing of best practise in training, processes, reporting and sales management
• Monitor and follow up sales performance, and support markets with roll out of all
• sales & marketing activities
• Develop usage and roll out of sales support tools, like SCRM and Sales Portal
• Create tools and competences in order to make better business decisions and improve business intelligence
• Drive the Integration of SFS Sales processes within overall Scania sales processes.
• Build and maintain relationships with Business Area's Scania Sales & Marketing and within the regional offices of the Scania Commercial Operations organization
• Develop new Sales processes and ways of working based on Customer experience
• understanding customer journey.
• Monitoring and guiding Business units to improve their ability to sell financial services
• Analysing customer profitability, Sales activities and structured way of working
• Set and agree on common KPI's.
• Support with central guided marketing activities to reach agreed sales goals of our Business Units
• Develop and spread TCO and TOE based communication to BU 's
• Develop and coordinate concepts and communication supporting the shift to sustainable transport



Your profile

• Extensive sales experience, preferably in Financial services B to B.
• Experience from leading and systematically improving performance of sales teams
• Used to operating in a decentralised organisation influencing and directing teams in different geographic markets and cultures
• Leadership and Management skills
• Customer focus
• Passion for and knowledge of Scania's products and services.
• Comfortable to work with processes, CRM and IT systems
• Excellent English, other languages are a plus.
• Strong communication skills
• Good social competences
• Experience in managing change
