Volvo Cars Treasury is the internal bank for Volvo Cars. The responsibilities of Volvo Cars Treasury include coordination of the global funding strategy and financial infrastructure. It is also responsible for the management of all interest-bearing assets and liabilities and the execution of foreign exchange transactions.
The Treasury department is looking for a senior manager to develop and lead the risk management function.
The main responsibilities for the team are management of interest, foreign exchange and liquidity risk within the VCC Group.
The organisation is under development so a large portion of emphasis will be on changes and improvements of existing and new procedures.
Head of Risk Management reports to the Treasurer.
The main responsibilities for Risk Management:
Responsible for managing interest, foreign exchange and liquidity risks within the VCC Group
Develop and improve processes related to management of financial risks
Provide hedging and risk reducing strategies to senior management
Keep a close dialogue with the financial community regarding developments in the financial markets
Liaise with other Treasury departments to continuously increase the operational efficiency and control
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or equivalent
A minimum of 10 years relevant working experience from Corporate Treasury or bank
In depth understanding of financial products and markets
Fluent in spoken and written English
PC literate with good knowledge and proficiency in Excel
Leadership experience is meriting
