The role
We are looking for an experienced Head of Risk to lead the Risk operations at Willa. You'll lead the team that focuses on collections, reviewing payment requests, client & partner risk, incoming payments, and withdrawals. You will play an important role in taking Willa to the next level, you will help shape and develop the process for reviewing payment requests and calculate risk for our partners and clients.

What you'll do
Calculate risk for partners and clients
Risk review agreements between freelancers and brands
Identify payment request trends that may present a risk to the company, assess their impact, and propose solutions/optimizations
Build models to separate risk and improve profitability
Create new risk variables to more effectively categorize partners and their behavior
Ensuring alignment in every area related to Risk.
Who you are
Relevant experience
Bachelors in Finance, Accounting or related field
Perennial Credit analysis experience or equivalent
Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize and analyze data with attention to detail
Developed knowledge of the entire lifecycle from payment request to debt collection
Sharp problem-solving skills
Good at communication (written and verbal)
Thrives in a fast-paced environment where Left today may be Right tomorrow
