Lead our hematology product platform and connectivity journey
Are you the one to lead our exciting journey when we take our next generation hematology and connected solutions to the world?
Boule Diagnostics AB is one of a few companies on the global diagnostics market that develops, manufactures, and markets instruments and consumables for blood diagnostics under its own direction.
We are looking for a senior leader with capabilities and interest in In Vitro Diagnostics as well as cloud strategy in health care to lead our R&D organization of over 40 people in Sweden and the US. The role also includes leading and working closely with external strategic partners in key areas.
Head of R&D reports to our CEO Jesper Söderqvist and is part of Boule's Executive Team
Role
• Head of R&D is fully responsible to manage products with the full product life cycle perspective and define our technology portfolio.
• Continuously improve an efficient and compliant way of working in product development and product care.
• Managing development and research teams, including hiring new employees when needed and evaluating performance.
• Provide an attractive technology innovation funnel to meet business goals and as such contribute to the overall success of the company.
Our candidate
• To be successful in this role you need to have a minimum of 5 years' experience leading Product Development organizations in demanding regulatory environments.
• Experience from In Vitro Diagnostics is preferred, but also pharmaceutical, chemical, manufacturing, or other relevant engineering field will be considered.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• You have an MSc in Engineering, Chemistry or similar.
• You are fluent in English and Swedish.
Boule develops and manufactures diagnostic instruments and consumables for healthcare providers worldwide. The company's primary focus is in small to medium-sized hospitals, clinics, and laboratories in both human and veterinary diagnostics.
