We are in search of our next Head of Quality, Environment, and Safety Production, and we hope it's you!

This is your role

As our Head of Quality Environment and Safety (QES) at Site Eskilstuna, you will be responsible to continuously improve quality and develop a world class quality system focusing on customers' requirements, supplying customers with the most competitive and highest quality products. You will lead and develop an organization with 90 coworkers and 3 leaders.

Safety and sustainability are always our focus, and you will have a key role in leading the ongoing transformation of our business towards zero accidents and zero emissions contributing to the realization of our long-term strategies.

We see that you will lead the organization by example in accordance with Volvo CE Philosophy against set safety, sustainability, quality, delivery and financial targets to create a higher value for our customers and achieve involvement from all employees.

You will also:
Be responsible for the overall quality, safety and environmental compliances.
Secure efficiency of the Environment health & safety management at the site level.
Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the department.

As a member of the Eskilstuna Operations Management Team, you will report directly to the Head of Operations Eskilstuna.

Extensive manufacturing insight coupled with a robust business mindset.
People and culture-oriented leadership with a successful track record.
Ability to work cross-functionally, initiate, and execute task forces and projects.
Proficient in an agile way-of-working.
Master's degree in a relevant scientific field or a highly qualified engineering background.
Knowledge and application of legal and environmental product requirements as well as in ISO 9001, 14001 & 45000 through the production system.
Fluency in English and Swedish.

It is meritorious if you have:

Experience in technical development of products with similar complexity.
