We are a passionate, diverse and engaged team responsible for supplier management, strategic sourcing, Commercials, Quality and Delivery overall responsibility on global Suppliers and technologies.

Job summary
Volvo Construction Equipment is leading the way towards developing a world that is cleaner, smarter and more connected. To make this happen, our company is embracing a Transformation journey requiring the development of new services and innovative technologies.
In the heart of this Transformation, our Global "Electronics, Automation, Connectivity and Services" team is now looking for its new leader, who will have the dual responsibility for both setting a vision and moving from words to action, not only when it comes to the development of new solutions but also to support plants globally with resilient Supply Chains.
As source of inspiration for the team, this is a key role to establish new partnerships and develop new Business Models to create value for our customers.
The playground is broad, from tactical to strategical topics, Hardware or Software related, and this can be yours!
In addition, the new EACS leader will integrate SGC Leadership team, and accordingly act as a strong contributor in ensuring the organization is performing and developing towards strategic growth ambitions.

You have great cooperative and communication skills as you are dealing with multiple contacts both outside and inside of your organization. You have the ability to lead and are not afraid of taking on responsibility and standing up for the team. You are used to working in a multinational and multicultural environment. You have a strategic mindset and as a person, you are target oriented and believe there is always room for improvements. You understand the big picture, you are well organized and love taking on complex tasks. As a Purchasing professional, you have a good understanding of Global Sourcing Process and Business Strategies development.
Passionate by people, you should have a significant experience as a leader to attract, develop and retain talents in a context of uncertainty.
With a strong appetite for New Technologies, an Engineering degree is preferred but any other background is of interest to us providing that your curiosity and strong drive is an asset for the team.
