Your profile
As a manager within Proposals the following qualities and experiences are of value:
* Leadership skills
* Experience from managing people
* Several years of experience from sales or project execution
* Deep understanding of gas turbine technology and our products
* Strong drive
* Cooperative abilities
* Ability to see the complete picture
* Fluent in English
Your responsibilitites
You will be responsible for a department consisting of around 10 experienced and energized coworkers. The customers are located all over the world and order values are typically between 10 MEUR and 100 MEUR. As a manager for this office, you will also be part of the global Proposals management team and will be a key person to ensure continuously improvements within its area of responsibility. In the sales phase of a project the department is amongst others responsible for:
* Develop competitive bids. Both technical and to some extent commercial parts of the offer.
* Participate in technical and commercial negotiations.
* Commenting customer specifications and write related exceptions and clarifications.
* Define scope of supply and calculate related costs.
* Make technical presentations to customers.
* Perform handovers to the execution organization once a project has been sold.
The work is done in close collaboration with a global sales team.
