Nynas Engineering Department is looking for a Head of Project Engineering, based in Nynäshamn.
The Engineering Department in Manufacturing is working with capital projects for Nynas refineries and businesses, as well as environmental projects, investigations and support to the refineries and businesses.
The refineries are located in Nynäshamn, Gothenburg and Hamburg but Engineering is also supporting other production sites and storage facilities.
Engineering is divided into three groups; Process Engineering concentrating on pre-studies and basic engineering, Project Engineering concentrating on project management in the execution phase and Plant Engineering concentrating on the discipline engineering.
Project Engineering has project managers managing projects from FEED phase to completion including financial control and scheduling. The Project Engineering group works with the tool Antura for project portfolio management. The responsibility for the Antura program suite within Nynas is vested in the Project Engineering group.
Key responsibilities
As Head of the Project Engineering group you will be responsible for managing and developing the group of about 10 engineers working in our projects. You are responsible for supply of resources, internal as well as external, to ensure the projects can fulfil their commitments to the refineries. You are responsible for the quality of delivered services and the budget associated with the Project Engineering group.
You are also responsible for the software Antura within Nynas. You are a part of the Engineering management team and thereby the support and development of Nynas Technical Standards, Nynas management system for engineering, and the project procedures.
Candidate profile
The successful candidate has a master of science in Chemical engineering, Mechanical engineering or equal academic education. You have substantial experience in project management with focus project portfolio management. You have been working with modern design tools like PDMS or Smart Plant. You are striving for efficient handling of projects and are keen to develop work methods for efficiency in project management. You have a leadership profile and experience from management.
You communicate fluently in English.
