Job Description
We are now offering an exciting opportunity for an accomplished leader to take a leading role as Head of Project Development in paving the way for Vattenfall and its customers and partners towards a fossil free future!
The main purpose(s) of the Project Development team is to develop and mature projects in the bidding phase, before handing over to Project Delivery & Engineering. This includes four main scope areas, which are also individual teams, including Stakeholder Engagement, Consenting, Technical Project Management and Project Management, which the Head of Project Development is overall responsible for.
The Head of Project Development reports directly to the Head of Offshore Development and will work with the other teams in Offshore Development, as well as other functions in BU Wind and BA Wind as required for developing competitive and commercially attractive projects and bids.
Your role / what will you do?
The Head of Project Development is responsible for the following tasks:
Drive technical project management in maturation of projects during the bidding phase and until won or acquired.
Drive bid and greenfield project management
Negotiate, obtain and monitor consents across asset project life cycle
Drive stakeholder engagement across asset project life cycle
In addition, you will drive the overall strategy for how to most efficiently, and with the highest IRR, develop projects from initial selected opportunity through lifetime, selection of technical solution(s) and the bid itself.

Qualifications
Your profile / who are you?
Master degree in a relevant field is desirable
10+ years of experience leadership experience in operating large and international renewable energy fleet
Demonstrated ability to lead large and international teams, driving a performance culture and development of key skills and knowledge
Highly motivated, inspiring and communicative leader
Team player
Experience of implementing successful changes in an operational and highly dynamic environment
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Proven skilled in dealing with strategic, highly complex issues and problem/ conflict handling
Proven track record in technical and commercial asset management, energy production and optimizing performance
Health and safety as the highest priority
Fluent in English
In addition to growing and developing the team, you will work with external partners and stakeholders (public officials, partners and other suppliers) to ensure proper stakeholder engagement, negoations and agreements around consenting, as well as the technical and commercial project development towards TG2.
