Program Planning and Order Management is part of Operations Planning within Procurement & Supply Chain. The main deliverable for the team is monthly Global Master Production Schedule, for all Volvo Car Group manufacturing plants. When setting the plan, we need to ensure we are considering both the demand and the available capacity, manage the production order book and secure cross functional collaboration with stakeholders in the Order to Delivery process.

In the role as Head of Program Planning & Order Management you will be part of developing and implementing Volvo Cars future planning system and processes to support buildable, sellable and profitable plans.

The work requires close collaboration both internally and externally with our markets in all regions and affiliated brands. What will you do?
In this role you will ensure that the industrial and commercial system are functioning optimally together by balancing supply and demand within set boundaries. Manage and drive the monthly program process and continuously collaborate with key stakeholders to align on production volumes and capacities to support sales plan and stock targets for the planning horizon.
Owning the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and issue it on monthly basis for current and next year will be one of your key deliverables. Further, you will execute the plan by making sure the production order book is filled and optimized at LDOC according to the MPS and available capacities.
You will lead and manage a team of 3 clusters: Planning, Order Management and Cross Functional Projects. You will support our growth ambitions, electrification journey and new business models through developing people, digitalize processes and deploy new tools in the area of Planning and Ordering.
Be major contributor to the ongoing development of new ways of working, moving towards business process automation, advanced analytics and simulations that encompass the End to End Supply Chain to provide the business with the most optimized and value added plan at any given time. You handle unplanned events through continuous alignment with all stakeholders and optimize towards new decisions and pre-requisites to ensure the MPS is buildable, sellable, profitable and delivered on time.
You and your skills
We believe you have a leadership experience and proven track record of roles where you had to balance operational tasks, strategic mindset and releasing people's potential.
You have extensive experience and good understanding of the Sales and Production Planning areas and Order to Delivery, from a Commercial as well as an Industrial business perspective.
You are leading with Data driven approach by collecting data from multiple sources, perform Data Analysis and Verifications. You are knowledgeable in using this data in a pragmatical and most efficient way.
