This role is within our Consumer Connectivity Services team, to reinvent the car ownership by making life less complicated for our customers and ultimately save their highly valued time. This is a rapidly growing team, with a very interesting roadmap, and we are looking for outstanding people who will be some of the earliest hires in their function, helping to establish it at Volvo Cars.

Job Purpose:

You are an experienced program leader, responsible for orchestrating the execution of our work, and putting in place the processes & mechanisms to help the teams deliver smoothly and with high quality.

Beyond building and leading a team of great program managers and scrum masters, you will also be contributing to helping build out CEDs program management and scrum master guilds by continuously providing thought leadership and mentorship.

In this role you will also be driving the alignment around CCS roadmaps versus our key intra-group stakeholders, e.g. Care By Volvo AB and Polestar

Main Job Requirements/Responsibilities:

· Establishes and maintains comprehensive Digital program status.

· Hands on role in driving program scope definition, product planning, risk management, and program management in alignment.

· Ensures key roles and responsibilities are defined across a complex organization with multiple stakeholders.

· Improves processes the Digital team will be rolling out to manage scope, delivery, and coordination of high profile consumer initiatives.

· Manages program issues.

· Sets project quality and performance standards.

· Ensures the use of best practices and applies lessons learned from previous initiatives.

· Steer products across product management, corp comms & marketing, engineering, business development, analytics, user experience design, and more.

· Coordinates efforts between internal teams, functional areas and vendors to develop winning solutions.

· Tracks and reports effectiveness and efficiency of deployment

· Coordinates pilots and scales roll-out in regions

Required Skills:

· Excellent management skills, with the demonstrated ability to develop digital products

· Significant experience with and passion for consumer facing digital products required

· Highly capable of clearly communicating tasks, schedules, risks, and processes to a variety of business, creative, and technical audiences

· Must be organized and capable of managing, tracking, troubleshooting, and problem solving multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced ambiguous environment with cross-functional and third-party vendors

· Self-starter that can drive multiple projects with minimal guidance/oversight required

· Adapts to changes in workflow and business priorities with ease

· Ability to develop schedules, communicates deadlines, and enforces milestones

· Demonstrated ability to drive project execution in an organized and disciplined manner

· Experience tracking and translating engineering discussions into actionable engineering tasks and next steps

Minimum Qualifications:

· 5+ years of program management experience leading significant consumer technology products required

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field required; advanced business degree preferred

· Experience with agile software development methodologies and tools

· Proficient in use of project management and documentation tools

Preferred Qualifications:

· Scrum and / or PMO certification desired
