What you will be a part of
Dynamics, a business area of Saab, offers ground combat weapons, missile systems, torpedoes, sensor systems, unmanned underwater vehicles, signature management systems and training systems for armed forces as well as remotely operated vehicles and security systems for the offshore industry and nuclear power plants.
BU Missile Systems are offering complete Anti-Ship Missile Systems and VSHORAD Ground Based Air Defence Systems for the international market. Within these product areas we intend to be one of the leading suppliers with a well-defined home market and a focus at offering our systems to all relevant service branches and to all platform manufacturers.
Within the remaining product areas of the missile market, BU Missile Systems are to be a well esteemed partner in a number of international cooperation's. With the purpose both to develop and produce the complex sub-systems where the IPR gained, indirectly strengthen the missile system efforts above as well as other product areas within Dynamics.
Over all we are to be pricewise competitive in comparison to those industries that share our focus on quality, performance and precision in deliveries.
Your role
As Head of Program you will lead a team with the responsibility to execute won contracts with the main task to secure good profitibility, cash flow, delivery precision, quality and customer satisfaction. The program organisation is also responsible for activities and business decisions in the product life cycle, from opportunities to termination, to ensure high quality investments and alignment with strategic plans. The organisation consists of program managers, product managers, and program quality managers.
You report to the Head of the Business Unit Missile Systems and will be a member in the Business Unit Management Team.
Your skills and experience
You have a technical or economical degree from University. It is an advantage if you have experience from the defence sector.
As a person you have a well developed skill to lead and enthuse people. You need to be stuctured and performance oriented. You are interested in, and have the ability to, develop people as well as the organisation and are comfortable in meetings one-on-one as well as in small and large groups. As we have mainly international customer and partners you must manage English both verbal and in Writing
This position includes access to classified information, therefore you are required to conduct a security screening in accordance with the Protective Security Act and be approved for security clearance by the authority.
