FIS Global Trading is looking for a regional head of Front Arena Professional Services to lead a 25+ people team that can meet the demands of a changing business and a demanding client base. You will lead and develop your team of professionals located in Copenhagen and Stockholm, that provides high value add consulting and implementation & upgrade services to our client base. You will be responsible for managing the regional PS P&L and expanding the current 3.5+ mln USD regional revenue contribution and you have executive presence, skills and experience to effectively represent FIS and Professional Services in the Nordics region.

FIS Front Arena
At FIS Front Arena we have been building systems for financial trading, risk management and position control for 30 years. Our systems enable banks, hedge funds and other financial institutions make critical decisions with confidence, execute their orders and follow up their positions independent of the asset class: stocks, commodities, rates or FX. Whether the trade is done through an exchange or over the counter, we've got it covered. But that's just part of the story. In short, we support the whole electronic trading process from sell-side to buy-side and front-to-back.

Your role
You must expand the current professional services footprint and commercial offerings to our Nordics client base using a combination of tools, processes, knowledge and experiences from local, nearshore and offshore resources. You can build and sustain trust-based relationships that add value to our customers and FIS. You must be able to transform, recruit, train and retain a highly performing and motivated team that you lead by example and who respect you because you aren't afraid to get your hands dirty and you know the challenges they face on a day to day basis. You seek to improve our professional services offerings by being entrepreneurial and recognize that the issues that we encounter are opportunities to improve our process, our product and our training. You are unafraid of change.

You spend a considerable amount of your time with clients and prospects, in close cooperation with Sales and Product peers. You will gain thorough understanding of your customers' needs, requirements and ambitions and you report on the clients' compelling reasons to consider FIS solutions. You present a professional image to our clients and ensure that they understand that you will work tirelessly to get to the root cause of all issues. You aim to be the person they call on when strategizing on how to meet changes in their competitive environment. You do so by offering insights, experience, support and your personal dedication. You make decisions based on data and measure success using metrics.

You define the right balance between daily operations - with regards to Professional Services related pre-sales, client management, delivery, team development and management reporting activities- and longer term tactical and strategic outcomes based on documented, updated and communicated plans. You take overall responsibility for staff and resource planning, pre-sales and project delivery work division, revenue forecasting and resulting P&L PS outcome in your region - billable utilization, performance against budget, delivered revenue and margin contributions.

You take responsibility for your own actions and you act in a way that demonstrates integrity and confidence and which delivers trust.

You will be based in Stockholm and you will report to the Head of FA PS Europe and Middle East.

You have
A long track-record in financial markets and an in-depth understanding of financial markets; debt and capital markets, asset management, treasury, trading and risk management. At least 10 years of management consulting experience, including significant work in the financial markets domain.

You have good understanding of the current industry themes including regulatory changes. You can describe and present on complex business and IT issues within the financial markets to a variety of audiences, especially executives. You are aware of the organizational operations reality, priorities and political sensitivities. You have executive presence, interpersonal skills and industry stature to effectively represent Front Arena to the senior-most levels of client and prospect organizations, strategic business partners and the marketplace at large.

You can quickly recognize and analyze client current state, understand client business directions as well as clients' needs and priorities. You have complete understanding of the business and economics of a Professional Services & Consulting practice, including financial management requirements. You also have good and detailed knowledge of processes & methodology around Project Scoping, Initiation and Execution.

You have strong goal/results-orientation and highly motivated with the ability to grasp the "big picture" view. You can prioritize effectively because you have a high-level view of what is important and you have excellent problem solving skills.

You are calm under pressure because you know that there is no client issue that cannot be resolved by careful analysis and skillful negotiation. You display confidence and this flows through to your team.

You are proactive and recognize that your client's needs will evolve over time and you structure your Professional Services offering to meet and exceed these demands.

You love to establish processes as a means by which to apply measurement but are not rooted in maintaining these processes when they no longer deliver the results that our demanding clients expect.
