The Head of Production Maintenance and Support is accountable for Wellspect's maintenance and support organization. This is a highly automated production facility and a top-modern factory, producing medical devices in large volumes 24/7. You will be reporting to Vice President of Operations, having a significant role in the operations management team.
Your main responsibility will be to support the Wellspect production organization with preventive and corrective maintenance and upkeep. Production Support consists of approximately 70 employees divided into four groups. One of the teams consists of engineers focusing on improvement of production lines to increase OEE, another team is responsible for operations of process equipment. Furthermore, another two teams are accountable for the supply of preventive and corrective support. Moreover, the department is involved in developing and launching new projects with extensive and detailed know-how as well as enabling ramping up of production.
You will be contributing with a clear and solid leadership to the Wellspect organization, an eager approach to challenges, equipped with the skills to influence and inspire people.
In particular you will:
• As a base-line, ensure that quality and safety standards are fully met and that standard operating procedures are adhered to
• Improve, enable and enforce cross functional coordination and collaboration with other departments and functions of Wellspect
• Reinforce structures and processes, establishing a culture of continuous improvement
• To achieve a superior performance based on continuous feedback, you will inspire, stimulate and encourage our co-workers with the purpose to grow and improve our teams
Preferred qualifications:
• Master's Degree in Engineering, or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience in similar roles in automated industries
• Proven leadership skills in leading leaders
• Documented and acknowledged track record of achieving ambitious production, maintenance and/or leadership targets
• Excellency in Swedish, written and spoken
• Strong analytical capabilities
