The Head of Production Control is responsible for delivery planning of all active and future projects as well as both the internal- and external logistics function at the factory. He/she ensures that logistics set-up as well as equipment?s needed are in place and material flows are validated in time. He/she ensures material deliveries to assembly lines and that inventory is physically and system wise under control and optimized. He/she monitors and drives on-time delivery of projects and initiates actions to reach desired targets. The position has budgetary as well as personnel and disciplinary responsibility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensures that Production Control employees on all levels are inspired to reach high standards by self-directed team work
• Ensures sound resource planning and competence development for own employees
• Ensures continuous improvements and constant strive for excellence according to guidelines from Bombardier Operating System with HSE as highest priority
• Ensures that target and budgets are achieved
• Ensures that backorders are close to zero and mid and long term SCM are defined and implemented
Qualifications:
• Engineering and/or Business Administration (typical Industrial Engineering and Management) degree
• Around 5-8 years? experience in relevant role or several roles in manufacturing environment
• Broad expertise in Supply Chain Management and interfacing functions
• Good knowledge of MRP and planning methodologies with connection to adequate ERP-systems
• Sound understanding of Project Management and Financials principles
• Flexible, self-driven personality with high integrity and balanced communication
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Fluent English (knowledge of Swedish would be highly appreciated)
