Strategic Product Planning (SPP) is a highly strategic and influential function within Group Trucks Technology (GTT), as we support the entire Volvo Group navigate the transformation and set the direction of a visionary and holistic product plan driving the Group's long terms ambitions.
SPP is a global function with team members located in Sweden, France, USA and Brazil, as well as actively working with colleagues and stakeholders across all Volvo Group's locations worldwide. We are passionate about defining, analyzing and translating business requirements and user needs into meaningful and desirable commercial solutions. We constantly strive to increase innovation and efficiency through collaboration, always aiming at delivering the most inspiring product offer in the industry.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Head of Product Strategy Partnership Office drives product strategy activities with key partners and alliances (product plans, technical/business investigations, agreement contracts, etc), actively supporting Volvo Group's growth through product partnership opportunities on new segments and businesses, coordinating activities within GTT and other Volvo Group's Business Areas.
You are an energetic and driven orchestrator of existing GTT and Group experts aggregated towards activities with Volvo business partners (Alliances & Joint Ventures), analyzing markets and regulations data, customers, and competitor's information in order to define product strategies for the Volvo Group in line with our Business partners.
WHO ARE YOU?
Experience
10+ years of experience from technology product and/or business development in a large multinational company
5+ years of experience from driving partnership initiatives and projects
Deep and recognized experience in product, technology and business strategies
Ability to grasp new ideas with an innate curiosity, aligned with sharp strategic thinking, judgement and analytical skills
Proven capability to embrace different high-tech fields and innovative business models
Master of Sciences is a must, MBA is a bonus
Fully proficient in English (written and spoken), and excellent communication skills is a must

In this position you will report to the Vice President of Strategic Product Planning and may be located in either of our Global locations. You will be a member of the SPP Leadership Team, and also a part of the Project & Product Strategy Office (PPSO).
