Head of Product Quality and Q reclaiming
We are now searching for a new team member to join our team in Ljungby! Head of Product Quality and Q reclaiming will support Kalmar product strategy by ensuring and controlling the product quality and reliability. In this position, the aim is to reduce Kalmar warranty cost by ensuring supplier accountability.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Build a strategic plan to position the product quality according to the product strategy
Work together with R&D to a build a strategic plan to reach and maintain product reliability
Develop, maintain and provide methods of measurements and measurements of product quality and reliability
Set the product line requirements on the supplier base for warranty and liability
Drive and support process development to improve Product Quality and warranty reclaiming
Lead a team responsible for Quality measurements and quality engineering
Reclaiming of warranty from Suppliers
Responsible for ensuring calculation and measurements of Product Quality in product development projects
Work together with Integrated Supply chain to ensure a stable manufacturing quality from our suppliers and MAU
Division representative in "Kalmar Integrated Supply Chain Quality board"
Drive investigation and implementation of product quality improvements in the Product Lifetime Care team
Responsibility for regularly reporting regarding outcome and possible deviations
HEALTH AND SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for securing own and co-workers' safety and health with all possible means
Description of subordinate / function responsibilities if applicable
WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE
Education level needs to be University Degree, Master of Science (M.Sc.) or similar experience
Experiences from similar tasks are qualifying
Experiences regarding other Cargotec products are qualifying
Focus on customer needs
Knowledge of material and container handling business and CB Equipments
Good knowledge in quality tools and systems such as ISO 9001, 5S, TQM, and Six Sigma
Business- and market mind set
Good computer skills, very good knowledge in Microsoft Office, knowledge in 3D- systems, especially CATIA.
Mechanical engineering skills, including drawings
Good leadership and management capabilities
Great accuracy, analytical ability and well structured
High level of communication skills
Ability to build trust, motivate and inspire people
Driving force and energetic and result oriented
Problem solver with multi tasking capability
