As the head of Product Cost Management, your responsibility is to lead and develop a team of Cost Estimators and product Cost Controllers. Besides the managing role, you also need to be able to fulfil a cost estimator specialist role. Your team is responsible for creating cost estimates from idea and concept phase to existing products as well as providing and tracking correct product cost data for the various programs run by CEVT. You will also be responsible to track and drive the delivery of cost targets - many times challenge the R&D, ME and purchasing community.
In cross-functional teams, including teams in China, you will support the organization to choose the most cost-efficient solutions out of your material and technical production skills. You understand and are skilled to analyse quality, material cost, production processes and tools as base for the cost estimates.
As a person you have keen sense of reaching targets and a holistic understanding of the total business effects pending on material and production cost. That you have strong analytical skills and holistic financial understanding is taken for granted. It is not unlikely that you have worked in purchasing or engineering before That you also can intellectually move quickly between discussions on numbers, projects, products and processes will be valuable. And mostly, that you enjoy being part of a great team and that you like responsibility and quick decisions.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
* Have 5 years + of similar experience from the global industry
* Experience managing staff
* Fluent in English and Swedish
