Metso Minerals (Sweden) AB in Sala, featuring app. 240 employees, works with international projects in mineral processing systems and has the product responsibility for the Process Equipment and Slurry Pump product lines. We also have a manufacturing unit for the Slurry Pump product line.
We are looking for a Manager/Head of procurements, to our Sala operation. You will be responsible for all procurement activities in Sala within strategic, tactic and also operation procurement.
Your tasks will include to develop sourcing strategy for all products; the strategy shall govern all aspects of the supply chain for the products lines. You will also integrate and work together with Project sourcing team, Procurement commodity Managers and Country Procurement Managers to find and develop new suppliers and to insure Cost competitive products for the product lines in Sala. Travel activity must be expected.
You have a minimum of 5 years experience within the industry, for example as a Category manager, Product or Project Manager, Technical Engineer or Strategic Purchaser. You must thrive in a fast changing and dynamic environment. You are a true team player and a loyal and cooperative colleague with strong interpersonal communication skills. You enjoy taking initiative and responsibility while having fun and building strong relationships. Fluent written and spoken English is a prerequisite.
