The Pricing Management team within Sandvik Coromant is globally responsible for the strategic pricing of products and services, and we support both short and long-term growth and profitability objectives within the company. We're now looking for a strong and credible leader to bring this team into a successful future - someone who finds motivation in a role where you manage a large network of stakeholders and get to influence our business on a global scale.
Your mission
As Head of Pricing, you lead a team of dedicated specialists in our mission to ensure compliance and execution of commercial pricing and profitability in a complex business setting. You actively drive pricing and development activities in line with our long-term profitable growth targets as you coordinate, support and manage price planning, pricing and profitability management, strategic customer pricing, along with improvements of tools and processes. Having a strategic perspective, you define a future state of pricing, and you implement new, as well as upgrade current pricing system landscape. You closely interact with key stakeholders in functions such as marketing, sales, product management and finance within Sandvik Coromant, and to ensure alignment with the overall business strategies, you also cooperate with the SMS Commercial Pricing and Profitability function.
You are an important part of our management team and report directly to the Vice President of Finance and Pricing. The location for this position is Kista, Sweden, and frequent travel is a natural part of this job.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in Business, Science or Finance. You have documented experience from leading positions - working with product management, marketing, sales, key account management or strategic pricing and profitability management in a manufacturing business. Combining an understanding of our business with skills in project management and knowledge of different marketing principles, helps you set a strong direction for this area. Ideally, you have a commercial outlook and you effortlessly know how to bring success in a multinational environment and how to communicate with both specialist and senior management teams. Working across borders, you also need excellent skills in English, and knowledge of additional languages is considered advantageous.
