Your role with us
As Head of Power Market & PPA, you will take the lead in developing, structuring, and negotiating Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and tolling agreements across all our markets in Europe. This is a cross-functional and high-impact role that connects the development, commercial, technical, and strategic sides of our business.
You will work closely with our Development, Engineering, Transaction, and Strategy teams to ensure that our renewable energy projects are positioned optimally in the power markets.
This role is ideal for a leader who thrives on combining market strategy, deal-making, and innovation within the renewable energy landscape.
The position is full-time, based in Malmö, Gothenburg, Stockholm, or Helsinki and you will report to our Head of Commercial.
In this role, you will
- Lead origination, structuring, and negotiation of PPAs, tolling agreements, and offtake contracts across all markets in Europe.
- Analyze and forecast power market trends, price dynamics, and regulatory developments to support investment and project decisions.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to optimize project value to ensure a strong market positioning.
- Drive innovation in PPA structures and commercial models, enabling flexibility and value creation across different technologies and geographies.
- Support transaction and M&A processes with insights into market drivers, pricing strategies, and contractual terms.
- Ensure Eolus maintains strong relationships with utilities, offtakers, and market participants.
- Contribute to Eolus' strategic market planning, identifying new market entry or product opportunities.
Who you are
We are looking for an experienced and independent professional with deep knowledge of the power market and a proven track record in offtake agreement origination and negotiation. You combine strategic vision with operational pragmatism and thrive on driving results through teamwork, trust, and creative problem-solving.
To succeed in this role, we believe you
- 10-15 years of experience in the energy sector, particularly within power markets, trading, or origination.
- Solid expertise in structuring, negotiating, and executing PPAs and tolling agreements.
- Strong understanding of market fundamentals, pricing, and risk management.
- International experience within the renewable energy industry (wind, solar, storage).
- Academic background in engineering, economics, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A strategic and hands-on approach with the ability to translate complex market insights into actionable outcomes.
- Excellent proficiency in English.
- Proficiency in Swedish and/or other Scandinavian languages is considered an advantage.
