Sony Ericsson is currently seeking a new Head of Planning and Procurement SWAP. The customer service function within Sony Ericsson is extremely global in its scope and focus. There are ongoing changes in the culture of the organisation and the pace of the business as a whole is very high. SWAP is a global program handling all aspects of how a phone is returned/repaired or serviced. The aftermarket support organisation sees that all returns flow into Sony Ericsson's service structure and sent to the proper service channels.
Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will be to deliver service to all Sony Ericsson regions/market areas worldwide and make this process even more effective then it is today. You will also manage a team of approx. 10-12 people. Other responsibilities include:
• Owner of Global order-fulfillment process for swap (exchange units) within Sony Ericsson
• Secure daily order-fulfillment operations globally
• Owner of the global planning & procurement processes including forecasting of swap within Sony Ericsson
• Secure the availability of swap units throughout the products life cycle
• Drive development activities towards other key functions within other business units
The distribution centres (Reverse Logistics Hub, RLH) are today located in Hungary and Singapore. The establishment of a future hub in Latin America/North America is underway. The position is located in Lund, Sweden. You will report to Head of Reverse Logistics Operations.
Background
You are a person with a degree, preferably in Engineering, Business or other equivalent. You have experience in purchasing, logistics and planning from an industrial environment. You have worked within global operations in Europe, North America and/or Asia Pacific. It is important that you have experience working within cross-functional and/or international management. Furthermore you have a proven track record for managing a team of at least 10 people.
You are fluent in both oral and written Swedish and English. Since we use the SAP system it is an advantage if you are experienced with this system.
You have the ability to work effectively across different cultures. You are action-oriented, decisive and able to drive changes long-term and motivate people to commit to changes. Furthermore you have experience working within in a service culture with high client focus, and thrive in a problem solving environment. You have strong interpersonal skills and are a person that functions as a social net-worker.
