The Head of PEU Radio Atlantic will lead a global organization of 1600 people, contributing to world-class Radio product development including systemization, design, I&V, Industrialization and quality assurance. The role will have design ownership for all Radio products developed in Sweden and Canada.
The Head of PEU Radio Atlantic will lead a team of 1,600, managing all aspects of global Radio product development, from systemization to maintenance. This includes design ownership of all Radio products developed in Sweden and Canada.
The position holder of the role will get the opportunity to shape and influence the role and how organization will develop over time together with stakeholders in and outside of the engineering unit.
What you will do:
Lead and inspire a team of over 1600 highly competent and engaged engineers
Drive end to end development and quality assurance for Radio products
Systemization, design & verification of Radio platforms, product – and frequency variants developed in Sweden and Canada.
Prototyping and production test development
Lead collaboration with key partners, suppliers and eco-system in Radio domain
Drive operational development with focus on efficient product delivery considering the portfolio perspective
Drive product development in a multi-site dimension
The skills you bring:
10+ years of product development experience, including leadership of large global teams in complex engineering environments.
Proven domain knowledge in hardware products with a demonstrated passion for development
Demonstrated success in delivering against roadmaps with timeliness and quality.
Strong technical credibility and the ability to command respect across engineering and executive stakeholders.
Experience leading R&D or operational transformations, fostering innovation while ensuring operational excellence.
Strategic mindset with the ability to operate at both the visionary and tactical delivery level.
Thrives under accountability and demonstrates resilience when navigating challenges.
Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with a "one team" mindset across diverse cultural and technical domains.
