The role as Head of People & Culture is part of the reorganization of SAS's People organization in support of the exciting transformation we are undergoing.

The ideal candidate is expected to act as a credible, strategic and courageous People Leader with the aim of challenging existing methods, bringing in best practices, and lead initiatives relevant to drive our business strategy and our culture forward.

As Head of People & Culture you will be reporting to our EVP, Chief People Officer.

As Head of People & Culture at SAS you will:
• Define the strategic capabilities for the business units and support higher retention of key people, cascading through the organization.
• Thorough a thorough understanding of the business challenges, develop and manage a strong talent pipeline across the business units.
• Lead and support the change towards a more performance oriented culture through effective business partnering activities.
• Develop relationships with the most important stakeholders across the organization, understand their strategic priorities and ensure those are proactively supported.
• Set a clear direction for the People agenda in line with the People Strategy and with well-defined roles and responsibilities and clear KPIs.
• Be an active part of the leadership team of SAS' People organization. Support and engage in a positive and constructive way to lift the capability levels of our function and to position our function as a highly credible and business focused partner.
• Leading 1-2 People & Culture Partners and delivering with support from our People Services Team as well as People Solutions Team.

To be successful, we believe you should have:
• Relevant bachelor's or master's degree.
• Min. 15-20 years of relevant work experience in business partnering / strategic HR
• Proven experience partnering with top/executive leadership and driving outcomes
• Business acumen with a proven ability to proactively translate business needs into strategic capabilities and drive a talent management agenda basis same.
• Deep experience with leading change and drive large transformations i.e. strategic refocus, M&A, IPO and/or delisting.
• Preferably leadership experience, with high performance of own team.
• Experience from large, international organizations, and a proven track record of driving transformation and lead change.
• International responsibility in previous work required. International work experience preferred (having been based in different countries).
• Exposure and knowledge of how to abide by Employment law preferably in Scandinavia as well as appreciation of partnering with unions.
• Fluency in Business English required.
