Division Packaging Solutions works with leading retailers, brand owners and converters. We develop innovative fibre-based packaging solutions to build brand value for customers, support their sales, and optimise their performance to reduce total cost. Packaging Solutions operates in the value chain from collection of paper for recycling, production of pulp and containerboards as well as corrugated packaging solutions. We have operations in eight countries in Europe and Asia.
Work Description
As a part of our offering of corrugated packaging solutions we also sell packaging machines and systems which we are calling Packaging Automation. We want to be innovative packaging solutions partner to our customers and we believe that Packaging Automation is an important part of our offering. In the Packaging Automation organization we coordinate the resources with project lead, project sales, installation and after sales. A more uniform approach to the business operations in packaging automation is needed, with a common partner/supplier strategy and a common Stora Enso brand.
As Head of Packaging Automation your main tasks will be to develop and drive the strategy in Packaging Automation and take P/L responsibility. Further on you will develop skills and competences and provide coaching in the Packaging Automation team. Your main tasks will also be do develop the organization structure which support the strategy of Packaging Automation and the partner strategy and partner contracts.
Communication with managements and sales management in Corrugated Bus and unified branding of Stora Enso packaging machines are also included in your main tasks.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate is a strategic and market minded person who can build and lead a multi-cultural organization. A person who can strengthen our competitiveness in the mature markets in Sweden and Finland and boost sales in growing markets. Sales coordination and building the partner strategy will be an important part of the work.
You have proven leadership skills and experience in change management. Further on you have a minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales or project lead and proven negotiating skills and experience in contract writing with customers and machine manufacturing partners.
As a person you are a team worker with ability to inspire, motivate and coach others. You are strong in customer and sales orientation and are good at planning and have strong project management skills
Good spoken and written English, knowledge in Swedish and/or Finnish is an advantage
The position requires reediness to travel.
The Head of Packaging Automation will lead a team of some 15 people across our corrugated units plus our manufacturing unit Formeca with approx. 25 employees. The position requires a very hands-on attitude. This position reports to the SVP, Corrugated Nordic.
