Responsibilities
As the Manager of Heavy Vehicles and Components Outbound, you will be entrusted with several pivotal responsibilities, leveraging modern methodologies and competencies in the logistics domain while championing sustainability efforts.
Your core duties will include:
Overseeing Scania Global Outbound process, encompassing the establishment and engineering of transport networks while maintaining ownership of global processes, with a keen focus on implementing sustainability practices.
Acting as the representative in TRATON GROUP Outbound cluster, focusing on operation synergies and processes harmonization among the various brands within the group.
Lead efforts to secure available capacity for short and long-term volume strategies, fostering transparency and resilience in the process, integrating sustainable initiatives.
Taking charge of handling delivery escalations tied to the global outbound process and managing supply crises efficiently.
Active involvement in Request for Quotations (RFQs) and approval of transport suppliers across different transportation modalities.
Ensuring seamless cross-functional collaboration between various Industrial Operations functions such as Production, Logistics, R&D, Purchasing, Sales and Marketing, Commercial Operations, Finance, Taxes, and Customs departments.
Playing a crucial role in significant developmental projects including the implementation of the New ERP Backbone and China establishment as a key part of the order-to-delivery process.

Qualifications and skills
To succeed in this role, you should be self-driven with a strong focus on solutions and a goal-oriented mindset and can lead a team towards ambitious targets amidst a volatile and disruptive environment, adept at managing risks and decision consequences. You have proficiency in setting the vision and strategic targets for processes, integrating sustainable objectives into the organizational vision, and are capable of navigating between short-term critical issues and maintaining a focus on long-term strategic objectives. You are passionate about business with exceptional communication and conflict management skills. You demonstrate a high level of professionalism in interactions with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
Proficiency in written and verbal English, and Swedish or German language knowledge is considered advantageous.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial logistics role is required.
