We are looking for an ambitious and business-driven Head of Nordic Demand Planning located in either in Linköping, Copenhagen or Oslo.
Job Description
The Head of Nordic Demand Planning is responsible for ensuring strategic goals are met through forecast modelling, capacity planning, collaboration and effective communication. This position is responsible for a long term, short term and intraday contact volume, and providing the leadership teams with risk mitigation plans. The position will act as a support for the leaders of Customer Service within the Nordic countries, assisting with and providing guidance on performance impact analysis and operational planning. In addition, budget preparation/input and reporting assignments are an expectation of this position
Core responsibilities
• Support business decisions through the preparation of timely and accurate variable forecasts with a specific focus on improving the customer experience and maximizing operational efficiencies.
• Validate established influences/drivers and leverage advanced statistical methodologies (correlation, regression, etc.).
• Generate base schedules that ensure the ability to meet service level KPI's based on staffing forecast, skill requirements, historical contact volume and planned marketing initiatives.
• Provide analysis and recommendations to improve staffing levels, efficiency and reduction of call volumes.
• Aggregate forecast information into a comprehensive document to be published with leadership teams for headcount, budget, and capacity planning purposes.
• Evaluate and implement new methods and techniques for operational improvement.
• Lead projects that will enable continually improved processes by identifying, sharing, implementing the best practices within and across the Nordic countries.
• Provide technical and professional expertise for projects and initiatives as subject matter expert.
• Develop documentation relative to systems functionality and processes to help ensure user understanding.
• Setup proper governance for forecast reviews and provide subject matter expert support to the local countries.
Required Qualifications:
• MSc in business administration, data science, statistics or similar, or a bachelor with relevant experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in a fast-paced international company.
• Experience with demand planning, data analytics and forecasting based on statistics.
• Strong analytical capabilities and a proven track record of business impact.
• Self-driven and a structured approach to work.
• You are able quickly to identify and address challenges and improvements.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of managing multiple stakeholders.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
