We are now looking for the right person to build up a new team and function within our Network & IT Sourcing unit. This new team will drive the implementation of Sourcing Project Management within Network & IT sourcing. The size of the team will most likely grow over time but initially we are looking at a team size of 3-6 people. You will be responsible for the staffing of the team which will be done both by identifying suitable candidates from the other teams in the organization as well as by recruitment where needed. As Head of Network & IT Sourcing Project Management you will report to Head of IT and Network Strategic Sourcing.
Your next challenge?
Telia is in a process of change and transformation, not least when it comes to driving the company's sourcing activities. There is a long history of decentralized sourcing where each respective market and country has had a large say regarding choice of suppliers, products, services etc. An important part of Telia's journey of change will be to centralize and integrate strategic sourcing. One of the goals is to fully leverage the potential of a centrally driven sourcing process where larger cross category projects will be driven from the newly established Common Products and Services (CPS) organization. The role of the N&IT Sourcing project management team will be to take lead from Sourcing in these larger cross category and country projects, to drive and implement our sourcing strategies and realize synergies across our supplier portfolio.
The head of N&IT Sourcing Project Management will be tasked with setting up the new team and creating a good mix of competences and experience. Together with the team, he/she will develop relevant strategies and tactics regarding sourcing project management. Working closely with the N&IT sourcing organization and relevant stakeholders in the CPS organization.

Who are you?
As head of N&IT Sourcing Project Management, you will need to continuously seek opportunities that simplify processes to cut back on unnecessary work and activities. Lean will be a key word in developing a world class sourcing team which can contribute substantially to Telia's overall performance.
Your leadership skills:
* Strong communication skills
* Structured and process oriented
* You like to drive change!
Your Experience:
* Good knowledge and understanding of the telecom and IT sector are important
* Previous experience in project management is a requirement
* Sourcing background is a plus.
