We are looking for a Head of Mobile Networks with strong business acumen for our Networks Division. Telenor is rapidly heading towards the connected future with 5G and we are looking for a person with a natural proactive drive who wants to make a difference. The Mobile Networks department consist of 110 employees and consultants divided into different areas of responsibility such as radio and joint ventures, mobile core, rollout, service platforms, network performance and strategic projects.
What you'll do
As our new Head of Mobile Networks you will ensure the modernization and the performance in the mobile network. You will be setting a strategic and operational roadmap together with your management team and interact with peers within the local business unit and within Telenor group. You will be a part of Network management team and will report to our CTO, Jonas Edén.
In the role as Head of Mobile Networks you will be responsible for:
* 5G roll-out nationwide in Sweden.
* Govern and oversee our current Joint Ventures we have together with other operators.
* Secure network capacity, strategic roadmaps and that day to day operations is maintained.
* Driving continuous cost and investment efficiency improvement.
* Implement Mobile Network strategies, processes and tools and ensure adherence.
* Support, advice and challenge your direct reports strategic, operational and people related issues.
* Secure compliance towards current regulations and legislation.
* Continue the agile way of work that the entire company now has embarked upon.
* Lead a team of seven direct reports.
Who are you?
To succeed in the role as Head of Mobile Networks at Telenor, we believe that you have previous experience in a similar role and deep knowledge of at least one of the areas of responsibility. You have strong leadership skills and know how to get things done and promote action before words. You have documented experience from rollout, mobile core or mobile radio and working agile.
You are used working in a fast-paced context and you're self-driven and creates impact. You build strong relationships through being communicative, authentic, caring and demonstrating high integrity. You like a variety of tasks, working both strategically and operative: from hands-on day to day business to be a part of setting the Divisional agenda together with the CTO and your peers within the Division. You work systematically, have a pragmatic approach, making plans and executing efficiently. Fluent in Swedish as well as English, both written and verbally.
