About The Role
We are seeking a passionate, collaborative, and community-oriented person to take on the role of Head of Marketplace.
You will lead a team focused on improving marketplace efficiency, product experience, revenue growth, incentives, quality and safety.
The ideal candidate is deeply analytical, has a perfect understanding of the mechanics and magic that make an efficient marketplace, along with strong strategic vision, project management, communication and team management skills to keep multiple projects on track and lead a wide variety of stakeholders.
What You'll Do
• Build and manage a strong team with Employee and customer satisfaction as focus #1
• Plan and set vision and strategy for the Marketplace Team for the near, mid, and long term, and iterate on plans in response to changing operational results and priorities
• Scale and execute Marketplace initiatives, with a focus on putting processes and practices in place that drive meaningful change in customer satisfaction, and generate significant efficiencies in all markets.
• Able to form a vision at a high level, but also not hesitant to dive into details or troubleshoot market by market where needed to identify optimization opportunities, and collaborate with the relevant teams to do so
