Some of the changes that we see today, such as customers going global and increasing digital customer interactions, emphasize the need for a more unified global approach.
Our global Marketing Execution team, part of Sandvik Coromant's Marketing and Communication function, take lead in applying a balanced and effective mix of marketing, communication and brand activities to drive sales, promote our growth strategy and ensure our unique brand position. Covering all our six sales areas globally, this team secure the successful and efficient launch of our offers and actively drive a digital approach by endorsing usage of online marketing, synchronized with online sales. We are now looking for a strong and inspiring leader for this team - someone with the ability to bring Sandvik Coromant's activities into the future of marketing.
In this position, you report directly to the Vice President, Marketing and Communication for Sandvik Coromant. You may have your office at any Sandvik location worldwide, while global travel is an essential part of the job. The team of managers reporting to you, are located in different parts of the world.
Your challenge
As Head of Marketing Execution for Sandvik Coromant, you bring a high level of creativity and an outside in perspective, as you lead a team of very experienced marketing professionals. Being part of the global marketing management team, you actively contribute to setting our strategic direction and brand positioning. By close interaction with the global sales organization, you take full responsibility for the total marketing execution budget, and realize the objectives in our long-term Sales and Marketing Plan, as well as in the yearly Selling and Marketing Action Plan. You also ensure that decided marketing activities, including new product introductions and global distributor marketing and sales campaigns, are implemented in the market as planned.
As manager for the Marketing Execution team, you identify needs for development and create a setting that generates engagement and enables this senior team to grow and take ownership. In addition, you act as an ambassador for a digital approach and guide the entire Marketing and Communications function, as well as other internal stakeholders, to create awareness and understanding in the digital area of marketing and sales.
Besides being an active member of the Sandvik Coromant Marketing Management team (CMMT), you are also part of Sandvik Coromant's Global Sales Management team and act as Chairman of the steering group for Marketing Execution, reporting into the Sales and Marketing Board.

You have a degree in Marketing or Business/Sales and at least five years' experience in a leading position in these areas, where you also have managed teams in a global setting. Solid experience from working with senior management teams is a necessity, and you have exceptional sales and business understanding and are highly skilled in strategic planning and tactical execution. It is advantageous if you have experience from modern marketing and from successfully leading marketing teams on a digital journey. You may also benefit from being well acquainted with Sandvik Coromant and the Sandvik Group set-up. As we operate globally, you need to have excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
