The position as Head of IT Operations means you will be responsible of a technical highly skilled team in Stockholm and Santa Monica. The team handle operations of external and internal infrastructure, systems and applications with state-of-art technology and heavy focus on automation. You will have a close collaboration with development and other teams, be involved in customer deliveries, escalated support cases, production and internal systems. Further you will make strategic decision, define standards and workflows, scale systems and architecture for future growth. The position is a combination of a management and technical role, were you will approach operations and infrastructure management with a software engineering mindset and be passionate about treating Operations as a product. The organization is fast growing, with SaaS services heavy invested in cloud reaching customers world-wide.
You have around ten years experience in an Operations role in PaaS or SaaS industry, five years proven experience building and leading teams and at least three years experience in software development. Further you have extensive virtualization and networking knowledge, ability to operate datacenters, experience with cloud and operation databases. You are also comfortable in both Linux and Windows and have knowledge of HTTP. As a person you are collaborative, communicative and a great problem-solver that thrive in a highly paced environment. You are fluent in English both verbal and written.
