We're looking for our new Head of IT Nordics to lead the IT team that plays a critical role in enabling success for our business and customers. For the team it is essential:
• To develop, manage, direct and control the cluster IT function in accordance with DHL IT strategy and guidelines, supporting the business with appropriate IT services and applications which will enable it to achieve its objectives.
• Manage the total IT organization and budget for DHL Supply Chain cluster while coordinating the strategic developments and contributing to the overall improvement of DSC's IT portfolio of systems and delivery of new innovative solutions.
You will be an important contributor to our Leadership culture "Head, Heart and Guts". Together with right personality and drive, that we believe fits the challenge we think that you have:
• 10+ Years of working with medium/high complexity IT programs/environment.
• 10+ Years working in the logistics industry with good knowledge of forwarding or logistics business.
• Experience in large sophisticated IT organizations with high volume/high transaction environments.
• Significant knowledge and experience in project/program management.
• Significant experience in implementing complex IT solutions within a business unit and customer facing environment.
• Desirable experience of successfully integrating new businesses as a result of re-organization or merger and acquisition activity.
• Preferably good conceptual knowledge of WMS, TMS, Integration Management Solutions in Supply Chain.
• University bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or relevant education and work experience preferably in Forwarding /Logistic sector.
• Familiar with project management and related methodologies. Prince2 or Depict certification is an advantage.
• Familiar with service management/delivery and related methodologies. ITIL certification is an advantage.
• Excellent ability to read and write English and one Nordic language.
• Excellent leadership skills.
You will be a member of the Nordic Management team and reports to CIO DHL Supply Chain MLEMEA with a dotted line to CEO DSC Nordics. The team is located within all Nordic countries. The role is based in the Nordic Head Office in Stockholm.
