Job Summary
The Internal Communications function at Tetra Pak informs, engages, listens to employees, and facilitates transformation worldwide. This ensures that Tetra Pak effectively achieves its strategic goals and fulfils its brand promise, to Protect What's Good, while sustaining pride and passion in the organisation.
Are you ready for an exciting strategic position in Internal Communications?
We are looking for a talented Head of Internal Communications, Sustainability, to support and advise our global Sustainability Unit at Tetra Pak. The candidate will be part of the Communications unit, reporting to the Vice President Global Sustainability Communications.
This position can be based any Tetra Pak office in Europe, preferably Lund or Modena. You will work in a global team supported by digital channels and collaboration tools.
What you will do
As the Head of Internal Communications for our Sustainability function you will join a global industry leader committed to making food safe and available, everywhere. You will lead the internal global Sustainability communications, working in collaboration with the Sustainability Leadership team and with colleagues in the Sustainability Communication team. You will also support the Sustainability Excellence VP and the Climate & Nature VP as their business partner, providing counsel and communications support.
Responsibilities:
Design and lead the overall communications plan to effectively and consistently communicate our Sustainability strategy, goals and targets, engaging internal stakeholders, all employees, and other relevant parties.
Identify and target key audience groups and channels for communication and develop engaging content accordingly. Support and coach the Leadership team with their communications initiatives.
Work across units and multiple teams at Tetra Pak to ensure all stakeholders are engaged and informed about Sustainability.
Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of internal communications activities, and adjust course as needed to ensure the success of the rollout waves.
Collaborate with all members of the Internal Communications ecosystem to ensure a smooth interface between Sustainability communications and our wider Internal Communications strategy and priorities.
We believe you have
A proven track record in leading and executing successful internal and change communications plans within matrix organizations.
Expertise in writing and editing (native English level), with the ability to leverage internal communications channels to their full potential.
An understanding of business processes and high levels of business acumen, particularly within the areas of Sustainability and transformation.
The ability to turn complex and highly strategic topics into simple, compelling stories that engage employees.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adeptly managing multiple topics simultaneously.
Strong collaboration skills, enjoying working within a team and across units, engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
The ability to build trust and use informal authority to motivate and influence people.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's or master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
A minimum of ten years of experience in internal communications or change communications.
Excellent presentation skills, visual communication, and content creation abilities.
Proficiency in digital communication tools and thriving in an increasingly digital world.
Experience with data analytics and measurement tools to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
